Tried changing it to the name of the current one. I'm lost. Can anyone help? I read this whole thread but didn't find an answer.

I am far behind all this stuff for the N900 I was on top when Kernel-power came out, flashing to overclock and all that, but I lost internet at my house shortly after and just kinda stop following this site, so here I am looking at older tech stuff lol.

Check to see if your PWD is the same as the deb file. If so maybe try appending `$PWD/' in front of the filename (without the quotes)
