Like the changes but this is still far from complete, IMO. Don't take that as an offense. But right now for building and editing nothing beats the Xterm way. I said for now
Did you take a look at my previous idea, with a look I mean: Do you think it's doable for you? I guess it will make it a bit more easy to understand that way.
DCS patch part is almost done only missing the second dialog for selecting idle profile.
When configuring this you get a dialog: Select your active profile in the next window
when you tap done you get immediatly the second file selecting windows. You probably want there a pop-up saying: Now select the idle profile in the next windows

Also I have lots of ideas but that's more for later versions:
Like saving built profiles in /home/user/.kernel/ and the ability to edit existing profiles. Sort of manager but that's not important now
