The easiest way would be
1. Create 3 more QBWs but for portrait mode.
2. Make a black tile QBW from your background (crop the background).
3. In landscape, overlap the portrait widgets with the black tile. And vice versa, overlap landscape widgets in portrait mode.

This is the best way.
