I had the same question. Really want to buy n9 as I've had such a good experience with my n900, just worried if it goes faulty about the support I'd get from Nokia. If it was officially available on contract I'd get it tomorrow.

Have seen a Lumia on a 12 month contract (with dial a phone) so thinking that might be a good choice whilst waiting for something better. Really like the design just a shame its such a downgrade from n9.
