Hey- first post here.
So, i've had my N810 for 2 days now.
Didn't want to customize it too much because of the update.
I, like many others, had such a hard time just getting to the server with the update-
I tried the internet tablet software upgrade path as well.
What a bad design: you have to have your N810 plugged into the computer in order to even download the upgrade. It took 2 hours to download the file, which was more battery life than i had... so the N810 shut off, and the download stopped.
So now i'm back to (the 4th time) charging my N810 fully so that i can connect again and try to get the software (i'm on a bonded T1 connection at work).

there has got to be a better way... i'm so disappointed.
