I haven't been able to exhaustively test, but it appears that the network slowdown (order of magnitude 10 or greater) affects wireless but not 3G. After installing the kernel, my 3G connection is now way faster than my wireless. Also it appears that the connection is moderately faster with the bleeding-edge wireless drivers. Any progress on this issue?
This problem is caused by extra/cpufreq_earlyload.diff patch. It caused me a lot of grief yesterday. @iDont: you should disable or remove it from your builds. Many devices are unstable at 1150 Mhz, resulting in reboots and crashes at boot.
