Pity, that it doesn't work the other way - i.e. build fake categories with values extracted from i2c (i2cdump every 60 seconds or so? should not affect battery life), that can be used as replacement of bq27x00_battery.ko That would solve problem of "living together" with bme, cause we're not going to re-write bme around this problem soon

Of course I'm not blaming You - thanks for Your work anyway. I'm just pointing out ideas, that may be interesting for some.
