Well I was a bit confused first whether to pick that or an i7 2600K, both are quad-cored CPUs, but the i7 features 8 threads. I didn't give a crap to be honest, what can 4 extra threads do?
Yes, it is the ultimate price vs. performance CPU, really blazing fast. My power source is sufficient, I did the math.
I may get some extra RAMs, but not now. Thinking about GPU upgrades is yet very early, the 6850 is an amazing card, with crossfire, it is a good setup. The 6850 is very overclockable (more than the 6870) and cheaper than the 6870 which was one of its pros.
