N9 basically needs more time to mature SW-wise.
There's some nasty bugs that can cause considerable battery drain under the right conditions.
But it depends entirely on the config/usage scenarios.

First thing I'll do once I get my White 64GB N9...*
Is do a tear-down and doco that in more depth than the service manual.
I will probably doco it all over at iFixti.com....

Before doing so I'll look into alternative batteries & panels.
It'll be interesting if replacing either is feasible, doubtful.

*if the freaking thing is ever order-able in Australia!?
