After getting my N9 and being on my 2nd day of usage I noticed the wifi behaves terribly. Now I have only downloaded the Qt SDK, and have not dealt with Aegis enough to try and do a solution but I might have figured out the problem, and maybe someone here has some ideas.

So as we all know the N9 runs the wireless at power saving mode.

You can turn this off through devel-su->rootme->develsh->iwconfig wlan0 power off

However I think the Nokia developers had a copy and paste gone wrong. The moment the screen shuts off as in the phone enters idle state it turns on power saving mode. Which makes sense but if you go out of idle power saving mode will still be on, you can run the command again but it will only last so long.

With power saving mode on my wifi at home and at work I get 60ms to 300ms pings to the device and it makes ssh'ing and other neat things I want to do nearly impossible. (Also lots of PL)

The moment I turn off power saving mode, download speeds improve, and ping times are a constant 1ms for me.

So if anyone has any ideas on how to get that command to stick that would be awesome. If not I will try some other ideas this weekend.
