Ok that is rather odd - do you have the Terminal installed and can you please verify if the daemon is running (i.e. run "pgrep organiserfeedd" without the "" and check if it returns a number).

If it does not can you please check what happens when you run /opt/organiserfeed/bin/organiserfeedd (i.e. does it kick you back into the console with a Segmentation fault or does it keep running - you can then terminate it using Ctrl + C).
