I just tried again on OS2008 - same problem.

So, does it make sense/is it possible to install the OS2007 version of the Python run-time on OS2008?

Python is not Hildonized is it? So would it work?

I am too chicken to try it because I do have a functioning OS2008 system with Canola 2 on it and I don't want to lose that until the Finnish holidays are over ...
