With the current download speed problems from the servers, the best bet is to d/l to your PC and then in the Upgrade Wizard point to the downloaded filename.

Once the .bin file was on my PC the upgrade worked very quickly.

Side benefit: in case you need to re-flash the N800 (after tinkering around under the hood!), you already have the file.
