I can remove the loading dialog, and simply have the folder close once the application is launched. This would seem to be the best compromise, though it still won't close if the application has no GUI.
There will be more updates, but I also have other projects to update. At the moment I'm working on providing event feed integration for cuteTube. It's almost finished.
