On the TightVNC webpage, I'm no longer seeing it also suggesting to install dfmirage-setup-1.1.68.2 anymore.

You just double click on it, your monitor will blank for maybe 5 seconds, and you're done for good.

I really don't care to use VNC without it.

So yeah, I highly recommend this once you get everything all settled.
