If you want more: Just keep an eye open for "trouble-threads" on the forum here, and you'll see that lots of these devices with problems actually have those "patches" applied.

Well, ideally you should be able to simply uninstall. However, lots of these "patches" leave settings the way they were set at the time of "patching", so a reflash is more or less mandatory.

I removed both patches and still my n900 is damn slow...
I'll reflash soon.
May the lagginess be a result of a crash during installing apps for easy debian?
