So, half of the times I'm installing Debian packages, the phone shuts down and the filesystem image is totally FUBAR as a result. I have to restore it from backup each time. Trying to install the package again after that leads to the same result.
There was a solution on the Wiki or in one of the million thread pages on this forum, however I have no idea how to find it. I didn't write it down or tried it. It had to something with disabling some watchdog. Can anyone help me track it down?
Any suggestions on a file system to replace ext* with? And how in danger are Maemo's partitions?
Playing with nice has no effect.
