Well, yeah the task switcher is quite basic but actually pretty efficient:
  • you can list more application windows at once
  • you don't have to show/generate window thumbnails

But window thumbnails:
  • are a better metaphor IMO
  • are larger -> easier to press, making application switching faster

The whole GUI looks like basic - so what, as long there are no glaring usability mistakes.

I might consider porting my applications - provided there are Python bindings for Qt (or some other toolkit) available on Tizen.
