Get yourself a cheap but well equipped Android phone, e.g. ZTE Blade or Skate (aka Orange San Francisco and Monte Carlo), scrub the network operator cludge from it, install CM7 or a respected ROM from modaco and get the Android urge out of your system.

My Blade is handy for when my N900 is incapacitated, or when I simply need gapps integration while out and about (or to update my call contacts in the car since phonebook integration doesn't work).

You will return to your N900 after a week or so, newly invigourated for Maemo and her ways.

And if you don't, you can sell it for a tidy sum for double what you paid for the ZTE.

My Blade has just received a dual battery mod after I nabbed another wrecked unit. Will be using that for a week while my N900 gets a good scrubbing and spring clean.

N900 4 EVAZ, as they say.
