Filesystem and how folders are ordened doesn't matter, just create a new partition (multiple, you know zdrive). Symbian isn't linux you know but you can also boot an windows and a linux on a pc


What I am trying to say is you might create the conditions for symbian to run on the SDcard (symbian partitions)

The hardware can run symbian, only booting in it is a problem because it has a different bootloader than maemo and maemo is closes source =(

but if we start to build the symbian bootloader for our N900 we could run symbian. Except that we can't boot maemo anymore, I think. It's something like that windows bootloader can't boot linux, while linux can boot linux and windows. In our situation it's the problem that the maemo bootloader can't boot symbian and vice versa. In theory if you manage to let the symbian bootloader run on our N900 we could boot symbian in it's full glory
