The Google Voice Conversations and Contacts Plugin used up my 5GB monthly data 25 days too soon.
I had it set to check for messages and voice mail every minute, but I had it like that for almost a year. Now I changed that to 2 minutes for text messages and 5 minutes for voice mail.
It looks to me like the data payload between google and my superphone has increased incredibly.
I have about 700 messages on Google Voice website that I have received over the last year. I wonder if this plugin is downloading all the 700 messages to check if there is a new one.
This plugin is very important for me. I have data plan only (no voice plan at all) from T-Mobile. This means I have no calling/forwading or SMS capabilities from T-Mobile.
I can't let this plugin use up all my plan in just first few days of the month. I need the some of that bandwidth for voice calls though SIP or VOIP.
Please someone help cause being without a superphone 3/4 of the month is terrible.
Thanks.
Update:
I just deleted all text messages on the Google Voice website and activated this plugin and it didn't reduce the size of downloaded data. Every time I activate this plugin it downloads 350kb of data.
The amount of data this plugin is downloading is enormous.
