I had same problem with facebook. (repeadly asked password)

What i did was that i deleted facebook account from Accounts. Restarted phone. Then opened Facebook app and logged in (it also created new facebook account to Accounts).

Looks fine now. But i don't know if it is right solution. Well you can try atleast.
