Basically, it'll convert any phone numbers it encounters that begin with '0' to '+44'. I just didn't get around to adding the configuration settings, so it's hard coded for the moment.

The backup method is to use PC Suite's backup tool, not Nokia/Ovi Suite's. It's not destructive in the slightest - and if you have any concerns simply copy the /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger directory before doing anything and if things don't work out, copy it back.
