I guess finding the best music and video player depends a lot on your usage.

My problem is that I mostly listen to podcasts and watch TV shows during my commutes. When I'm walking, I prefer podcasts, and when I'm in the subway, I want to watch videos. So I end up stopping in the middle of a file often, and I would often need to resume the file later again (after doing other stuff with the media player).

Unfortunately I haven't found one yet that lets you use bookmarks within the file. Also, it would be nice to have a list of recent files, so I could quickly go back to another file.

Is there any media player that would support bookmarking? The other option would be to have different players for video and audio.
