I also have not had any success with Canola2....and I have read as many threads as I can find, I have tried the temp repository, the incorrectly spelled one and all. I am at a point where I am getting an error when the installer configures.

As far as the can not install error, check the log. There is more information in the log and I have worked through some issues, in particular, the installer sometimes doesn't like my internal MMC card...

at the moment I am narrowing the problem down to some missing dependencies. I figure the install should blow with a message about missing dependencies but it doesn't quite do that for me...instead I just get that dreaded unable to install.

ANyway...check the log. The core of my problem seems to be the libeet (Libeet0 package) and its dependencies.
