Thanks. I had Facebook contacts set to hidden and did not think to re-enable and merge them.

Did a test now. With both a 3G data connection on/off after a reset and the phone is fine(40 minutes in total)

Too late for that because I did the reset, but thanks for this info. Although I hope I'll never have to use it.

I might actually have to do it Which is not cool. I've got an even more irritating problem that I hope is both carrier and software related(I'll wait until PR1.2)

The thing is I was talking with one of my mates today(different carriers) and all of the sudden a loud high pitched ring started echoing. So I decided to do a test now and what I got was not good.

I can pretty much replicate that awful ring any time if I turn on the loudspeakers during calls. I also got no sound at all sometimes and the mute function doesn't seem to work during calls. That's why I'm hoping that it's software related(and this is after a factory reset). Either that or my mic is broken.

Gonna test it out with two different phones and see whether it's the carrier or the phone. I'll post a vid so guys can check it out just in case someone is curious.

edit: carrier problem

I never should have left Orange, but I was tempted by better prices guess you get what you pay for.

Although the mute bug still remains. I wonder if that can be related to the quality of the service as well? But I don't think so, shouldn't the phone just tell the speakers to stop producing sound? When I hit the mute it literally has no effect.

I'm probably gonna file a bug once I do some other tests.
