Love it

After the first day of MWC I am much more relaxed for Nokia. Lumia 900, Lumia 610 and the 808 The Lumia 610 will bring WP to the masses. The Lumia 900 is the WP flagship and the 808 is a pure monster, I mean 41 MP Pure View Technology and running Belle. My next phone for sure.

I see a big drop in N8 sales coming, a disintegration of mid/low Symbian Belle phones due to the Lumia 610. But also, with Lumia 800 and Lumia 900, the future for the N9 does not look all that nice.

The world doesn't stop. Everything changes, and the mobile industry changes faster than anything else. I am sure a real Linux phone like the N900 will emerge eventually, maybe real soon. But it will not come from Nokia, and it will not be a flagship device this time around either. Flagship devices are made for the general public, not for a small group of computer geeks (unless you count Android as Linux that is).

My bet for the next Linux phone is a Samsung device running a Tizen/Bada blend on Intel chipset or ZTE running some home-brewed Android like Linux on whatever chipset they get their hands on, maybe even both. But first, it's time for some 41 mega pixels
