Using the N9 is like taking the scenic route to work every morning. It's nice for a while, but once the novelty wears off you just want to go back to using the motorway, which doesn't have the nice scenery, but is much more productive. It often takes several swipes and some lengthy scrolling to achieve the same thing that only takes one or two taps (or use of a keyboard shortcut) in Maemo5. Then we come to the bugs, the lack of customisation, the relatively poor multimedia performance and so on. The N9 is for those that know why they want it (usually Swipe UX and shiny design). I could not recommend it to anyone that is on the fence. It can't replace the N900, nor can it compete with the more established smartphones.
