I bought a second N900 as a backup. It was manufactured late 2010. Immediately I noticed the USB port on the newer N900 was very tight!

On my original N900 (from 2009) the port was never tight, the USB plugs move out with barely any force at all. On the newer one, I have to really pull hard to get it out. So now maybe I have some idea why the USB ports become loose.
