That's already implemented in the development version (available in the master branch on Gitorious). I haven't made a prerelease of this yet though.

Calendar on N9 don't know something other then dead-line day-time. The only option is shown it in :today: if :now: is before "dead-line day". It is not necessary to shown in the next/following days. Maybe only in "dead-line day".
I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Could you post an example of what you are seeing and what you would expect to see instead?
