Apparently a fix is to
Code:
stop apps/led-event-notifier
nohup /usr/bin/led-event-notifier &
Should last till you reboot, or till I finish it.

(Not sure why it fails to start correctly automatically, could be another Aegis restriction causing it not to connect to DBus properly)
