That's certainly no worse than Nokia's world-class mail-it-in-MAYBE-get-it-back-in-30-days warranty where you also aren't given a replacement phone in that time AND the benefit of having NO idea where your phone is at any given moment. If you're unlucky, you ended up getting a Symbian phone instead of your N900. FANTASTIC, Nokia! People LOVE that. On the other hand, my experience with Motorola and Verizon was extraordinarily excellent. I walked in--got a replacement the SAME day with Verizon (who took care of it for me on behalf of Motorola) and then another incident where Motorola sent me a FREE replacement part by 2-day shipping. Nokia's support has been nothing but frustrating, impotent and insulting during my experience with them and that of the people I've associated with during my Maemo era.
