so if you have some time you may compaire sources (patches) betwean those versions and track down that bug

just removing changes from v42 or v46 which are not in v40
and bulding the kernel then testing would be the clean way to track down another reboot issue causer

Sorry for the offtopic.

The problem is that I don't have so called "reboot problem" on either of my devices, blindly removing kernel patches won't work. Otherwise it is a good idea to check what has changed between kp40 and kp46
