What I did when I was downloading Maps is, I would open the NATIVE browser, and as long as I was browsing, the Maps were being downloaded. As soon as I would stop browsing, the download stops. It's like the native browser would make it work.

Then it IS a software problem from the sound of this, they just didnt fix it in PR1.2? weird. It might have to do with excessive battery consumption if connected all the time. Clearly the connectivity issue gets worse when it enters in power saving mode, so that might be the clue of this. On the ohter hand, it wouldnt make sense that they would fix it in the white N9 but not in the others. Could someone from Nokia explain this?
