Hi, sorry to hijack your thread, but I don't want to create a thread because of silly question.
So I give up of using modest completely, is it possible to stop the modest daemon run after every reboot?
I have try to stop modest using initctl as suggest in this thread, but it can't find modest's daemon.

any idea?
Is it safe to stop modest? No other program depends on modest right?
