The same here i also miss a shutter btutton on the N9 and think the camera is on the poor side.

Like to tinker, but find myself spending less time on it and don't find it as fun anymore and could get it out of the system by fidling with my old N900. Just find myself wanting my phone to be working out of the box more and more and IOS is deffo not for me (tried 4S for 2 months).

Would go for a Nokia 808 pureview if i was to change, even taken the phone running on symbian platform. It would suit my day to day needs very fine and even bring a monster cam with it. A mobile and an almost point and shoot in the pocket. Cool.

But as @gerbick puts it i also think you (somedude) would like the N9 over the Lumia 900 (wich has 4.3" screen, quite big, on par with sgsII afaik) unless you grown tired of tinkering aswell then the Lumia is one fine replacement and has a better screen imo? Though the N9 got swag
