I agree that Ko/pi would be difficult to port, switching toolsets isn't a job I'd particularly like to do..
The o-hand suite looks promising, and the use of the Evolution formats is even more interesting, and should be good to keep an eye on, although it seems only one application has been released.
None of these seem to really be what I need at the moment, though, although I'm beginning to think I'd be better off going for a more specialised approach, like Due Yesterday (
