The problem should be fairly obvious ... if you try to play Wesnoth with the pointer in your left hand! With the buttons all at the left side of the screen (or the top of the N800's case), to right-click using any of the hardware buttons you have to block your view of the screen by reaching across it with your right hand.
So I'd suggest three alternatives. (1) Register a triple-click as a right-click, (2) a button-push
then
a left click, i.e. a 'sticky' button, or (3) invert the screen -- which would put all the buttons at the right-hand side, opposite the pointer-holding hand.
(Of these, I don't know which -- if any -- are feasible, but I think #1 is probably preferable insofar as it may be useful for all players, not just left-handers. And of course, Nokia will probably make this whole question academic by releasing mouse support on OS2008 tomorrow ...)
