Datapath I seem to have the same problem as you do.

I've just received my n800. I switched it on for the first time and as soon as I switched it off the machine went dead. After reading this forum I took the battery out wait for at least 30 min to 60 min than it works. Every time I switch off it goes dead. I am afraid the pins of the battery will be damaged while taking the battery out and inserting back. Anyone have any idea for this problem ?
