Overclocking often is done in conjunction with undervolting, so battery could even last more...

For example I use "ideal" profile, 500 - 850 Mhz, having 500 Mhz voltage lower than the stock Nokia 250 Mhz voltage (see here). So in theory my battery using ideal profile (idle at 500 Mhz) lasts more than your battery with stock voltages (idle at 250 Mhz)

So overclocking, if done with undervolting, should also result in longer battery life and preserve cpu, definitively...
