- guess i'm an OF, as IMHO, the n800 is destined to be a 'classic,' similar to the IBM Z50 mini-notebook (not the PDA), which runs NetBSD, + X11, has a AA-battery pack, sports PCMCIA and CF, along with 16-bpp 640x480...

- i'm getting ready to receive my 2nd n800, which will be maintained in an upgrade status and stashed as a backup...

- to me, the n800 is the tablet i've been waiting for: book reader, web browser, camera, RSS, email, games, dict reader, and on and on...

- as long as 802.11b/g is supported, these devices will be fine for connectivity...

(and i'm still using my IBM Z50 w/a CF serial I/O adapter to run a high-frequency communications receiver via WiFi)...

- on the other hand, does anyone want my NIB 3COM touchscreen Audrey?

:-)
