OK. This is my last message on this thread.
You want to install the package "nitdroid-installer". This package is only available on the extras-devel repository.
Now the million dollar question: have you enabled the extras-devel repository?
If not, please search how to do that - I will *not* tell you that, as a matter of principle. Don't want to patronize, but you're clearly not ready for that.
Once you enable extras-devel you can install that package either with apt-get or using the Hildon Application Manager.
BEWARE: that package depends on MULTIBOOT and installs a new kernel (no idea which). If you're OK with that, go ahead. If not, please please inform yourself about Multiboot. This way we can avoid 2 or 3 threads from you in the coming days
Even more off-topic: A piece of advice:
Without meaning any disrespect, you don't seem to have a clue about the N900, but for some reason you've got one (I assume pretty recently).
Now, instead of learning about the N900 and Maemo5 and the things it can do, you want to install a port of a crappy OS (Android) on this amazing piece of engineering.
Your call. But I would reconsider your goals. If you want Android, why don't you buy an Andrioid handset? You can get a decent (new) Android phone for half the price of a used N900, and it will perform probably better than Nitdroid on the N900, and will obviously allow you to make calls and other stuff that phones usually do.
All the best.
Over and out.
