It depends on what you want to do with it also.
I just want to get into it, or at least give it a try. TBH I'm getting hacked off with Windows so I want to try some easy form of Linux.

I would also like to become more proficient at all the coding I come across amongst these pages - most of what I see is way over my head so I want to learn more about what some forum members are so expert at.

And as well as my experiences with my N900s and now my N9 I also did a shed load of coding on my Pioneer satnav - WinCE Core 5.0 - and re-wrote a lot of the UI/GUI, so it's not as though I'm a total noob.
