There were people failing to register on their phone where they had to change country code and number to succeed. Eg — +123 5555 to +1235 555 or +12 35555
i wonder what's their answer... what do they think about wazapp? didn't see it coming? :O
YES. Whatsapp Inc has been banning some users that try to register too many times, this is the reason of the error fail-too-many:: which is different from the fail:too:soon:## because this one ends after a perior of time (shown in ## minutes) Im not sure for how much time they going to ban them, I even sent them an email, and hoping to get a response. Meanwhile I want to ask the people with this error fail-too-many:: to do the following: 1. Remove your OWN-SIM from your N9, "quit" wazapp using the "quit" button and remove any data from the account manager 2. Insert another SECOND-SIM into your N9 3. Proceed register, until it works. 4. Remove SECOND-SIM, and proceed to "quit" wazapp and delete account information. 5. Retry registering with OWN-SIM This might do the trick! Tell us if it worked.
First, would like to thank the devs for their great effort in bringing this app, Second, this is the way I finally got it working in my country, uninstall wazzap Install wazzap v0.1.8 but don't launch wazapp, instead open "Accounts" - then Add accounts and select wazapp from there (believe me, I tried the other way and never got it to work) Once wazzap is launched enter your country code + the first digit of your number. eg. if code is +23 and number is 1234567890 you should enter on the code box like this +231 then on number 234567890, wait for the registration for complete (don't enter any other wazzap code registration number if you already had one), once the registration is complete, close wazzap and open it from the launcher, now that is fully working you can go and download v0.2.4 from the website and install it (DO NOT UNINSTALL v0.1.8) I hope this can help someone
