I have the same probleme

$ /opt/maepygalleryqml/maepygalleryqml
True
/home/user/MyDocs/DCIM
/home/user/MyDocs/DCIM/.thumbnails
/home/user/MyDocs/DCIM/DCIM2

It stay's like that and doesn't open...
