I know I'm slightly off topic here but I have colored the Meecast stanby screen pictures and would like to replace the folder 'smallcontour' in directory 'opt/com.meecast.omweather/share/images/' with a folder of the same name containing my own versions of the pictures in directory 'home/user/MyDocs/'.

I tried the following in developer mode:

cd ..
cp home/usr/MyDocs/smallcontour opt/com.meecast.omweather/share/images/

I got the message:

cp: omitting directory 'home/user/MyDocs/smallcontour'

Checked with filebox and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?
