Even alot of marketing will lead to W8 being a loss maker due to the complete shift in user experience which the masses won't be able to adapt to...WP8 is another matter as phones sell due to hardware and software integration but PCs sell for usability and W7 beats W8 on that count.

Even touch scren laptops are not easier to use than W7 as you've to continuously move your hand to the screen which gets tiring and irritating...
