Starting a distribution from scratch isn't trivial, and I don't believe Nokia or Intel were up to the task.
I agree, 12mth would've been quite unlikely, hence what I said.
I have played with MeR/Nemo (& before that MeeGoCE).
I'm aware of what the 1st and subsequent builds were like.
I'm talking up to 20-months extra with FULL FOCUS...
Instead of losing pretty-much all resources around Feb 11'.
With up to 4x Maemo6x devices to ensure some momentum before then.
But it's all would've/could've/should've now, time to move on.

Agreed on that....

If it's not like that, then Android is better and Nokia is gone before Christmas.
I doubt that, but it is in big trouble shortly after then.
