Please try moblin or the "real" MeeGo on a netbook or WeTab OS (=meego) and tell us if you really think Nokia could have "finished" that in 12 months? In my opinion buggy and totally NOT end-user ready. If you compare it to distributions like Debian and Ubuntu I think it is years and years behind. Starting a distribution from scratch isn't trivial, and I don't believe Nokia or Intel were up to the task.
I have to agree. WP8, it better be good. It has to be like a modernized version of Symbian. All the cool hardware stuff mixed with a fluent UI.
If it's not like that, then Android is better and Nokia is gone before Christmas.
