What is needed isn't another closed ecosystem: we want to be able to reuse the existing one ! If they really intend to go on the market, they *must* be compatible with Tizen and N9. All these OS share the same roots, nearly the same kernel, have (or will have) nearly the same Qt support.

So my answer is: all that already exists for Qt/N9.
Sounds great One slight problem i can think of right away is that Jolla will be based on upstream MeeGo which is rpm rather than deb. So although it may be straightforward to port existing applications, they may still need to be all repackaged.
