What was it set in default fremantle?
TLS is Transport Layer Security, a follow-up security layer protocol to SSL. The quick fix won't compromise anything, it just tells websites to connect via perfectly safe SSL3 protocol instead of TLS 1.0!

I guess this means something in the TLS implementation of the browser is now temporarily broken by the changes.
